The Lefort Foundation is a social impact organization. Our mission is to equip youths, women, and finance enthusiasts with the technological and soft skills needed to thrive in today’s workforce. We are focused on bridging the employability skills gap by providing bespoke tech training and promoting high-quality skill development and capacity-building among finance professionals, with a particular emphasis on technical and technology-related skills. The Techy Accountant is an initiative of The Lefort Foundation.

Since its inception, The Techy Accountant has successfully hosted over twelve cohorts, graduating more than 900 finance professionals and training over 6,000 individuals from regions such as Ghana, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, as well as Canada, the UK, and the US. Through platforms like The Techy Accountant Academy, we are committed to raising a new generation of premium, tech savvy finance professionals capable of driving economic advancement across industries.

The AccounTech Summit International is a premier gathering positioned at the intersection of finance, technology, and innovation. Conceived as an initiative of The Lefort Foundation and hosted by The Techy Accountant in partnership with FinTech NGR and other reputable stakeholders, the summit is a forward-thinking platform that seeks to redefine the future of finance through digital empowerment and sustainability-driven discourse. Now in its second edition, the summit builds upon the success of its inaugural outing, which attracted over 2,000 participants from 12 countries and 50 cities, featured more than 35 industry experts, and facilitated conversations on digital transformation within the accounting and finance sector. The 2025 edition promises to expand the scope and depth of engagements with the integration of more dynamic experiences such as a career fair, startup showcases, and inter-university competitions.

Set to take place on the 27th and 28th August 2025 at The Hall Conference Center, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, the AccounTech Summit International continues to position itself as a critical space for collaboration, capacity development, innovation exchange, and strategic partnerships among finance professionals and technology enthusiasts globally.
